New Digital Real-time Information Screens Feedback Form

About the RTI 2.0 Project

We would like you feedback. We are working to enhance the region’s public transport experience with the launch of new real-time information (RTI) screens on Manners Street and Willis Street. We are piloting the new screens across a number of bus stops and stations, including Plimmerton Station, Wellington Station, Upper Hutt Station, Wellington Airport, Waterloo Station, VUW The Living Pā, Manners Street, Willis Street and Ākau Tangi Sports Centre.

You are not required to enter any contact details on this survey to provide feedback.

You are not required to provide information about any disabilities, impairments or conditions to provide feedback. If you need assistance to complete this form, please call our Contact Centre on 0800 801 700.

Since this is a generic survey, Metlink won't reply to individual responses. If you are open to answering some additional follow-up questions, please provide your contact details and tick the "opt-in" box.

Metlink will not share your personal information to a third party for any reason.

General Perception

In general, how do the new screens compare to the old-style screens?

Over-all satisfaction with the screens

On a scale of 1(very dissatisfied) to 10 (Very Satisfied), how satisfied are you with the real-time information screen/s.

Text on the Displays

Screen graphics are designed to meet accessibility requirements for colour contrast and clarity. We've aimed for a balance between the amount of information and the text size within the screen area.

How satisfied are you with the legibility of the text on the screen?

Trip Information

A variety of information layouts are being tested at different locations, including sorting departures by stop and by service type, and live maps showing approaching vehicles. Service alerts now show on the screens with more detailed information.

How easy was it to find your trip information?

Service Alerts

Detailed service alerts now show on the screens. Unfortunately, we're not yet able to show buses replacing trains departure times.

How easy was it to use the service alert information?

Capacity icons

New bus capacity icons have been added to show how full each bus service is. The icons feature four people, representing passengers. The number of blue figures indicates the bus's fullness: one or two blue figures means there are seats available, three figures means there is standing room only and four blue figures indicates that the bus is very full but still may have seats.

Was it easy to understand the capacity icons?
Were the capacity icons accurate?

Problems

Did you notice any problems with the screen?
Which screen was this happening? Let us know so we can get it fixed.
